Baguio feels...

A well spent 4th of October with the ones I love. :">

We all went to Baguio even though the first plan was a trip to Batangas. Baguio was splendid and it gave me the "chill" feeling that I was yearning of feeling down here in Manila. :">

I got to spend the day with my family though my Dad and youngest sibling was not able to come due to other priorities. :(

With deprivation of sleep, we traveled at 4 in the morning from Manila going to Baguio which was roughly about 4 hours long. :) We arrived at the cool weathered Baguio City at about 9:30 in the morning. We went straight to Burnham Park where we parked the vehicle we were using and took a quick stroll. :D We decided to ride the boats that was in the middle of the lake (or pond if you may call it...) :)) It took about 30 minutes then we ate our early lunch before venturing other tourist spots that we are all familiar with due to our yearly visit there. :)

We filled our stomachs with food from the food stalls near Burnham Park. :) The food was delightfully appetizing specially for someone who hasn't eaten something decent since we left Manila. :)) After our early lunch, we went to The Mansion via cabs. :) We took photos and was having the time of our lives there. We may look like we haven't visited Baguio all our lives but we just enjoyed the company of each other with every destination we visit.

After going to The Mansion,we went to Mines View Park. :) We were everywhere! After some time and some picture takings, we all walked to the Good Shepherd Convent (or seminary. Not really sure. ;_____;) We bought some jams and other treats to bring back home. :D After buying things, we took the cab and went back to Burnham Park to drop off some of the things we were carrying and we all went to The Strawberry Farm.

The Strawberry Farm can be a cab ride away. :) I also love Baguio or even Benguet's cab rate! 35php!!!!!! Cheaper than the ones in Manila plus the cold breeze and fabulous view! :') Can't ask for more! We arrived at the Strawberry Farm but the scene was heartbreaking. :( There are no strawberries nor vegetables. :'( The locals there said that its off season right now. :| So what to do? Some of us went back to Burnham Park while others went to the public market to see if there are some vegetables or strawberries there (but still, NONE!!!!!) We all met each other at our van. We decided to rest up before coming back down to Manila except Mom and her friend who went out to check the orchard nearby.

It was indeed tiring but I have to say that the best part of our trip was when I had to bond with everyone especially with my sister whom I always bicker with. :))
